people who are very insecure cant live with out a relationship so thats why they get involded …….they need somebody to take care of them! If its seems to you like it’s a pain in the ass then oh well you just didnt find the one that will serisfy all of your needs or ur just demandin ..seems like you like to have your own space and friends search for a girl that does the same and it will all work out at the end ……ussually people cant be happy with out getting involved if they like you ……..if they dont like you and its just an attraction its pretty simple and easy and its still keeps em happy just to be up to stricly have sex !

You can be happy without a companion at your side, however I don’t think you would want to be for the rest of your life. At the risk of being used don’t just opt for sex. All we have in life is just putting ourselves out there and hoping for the best people do it everyday. If you just are looking to break from relationships for awhile that is perfectly natural and try to find something you love to do for yourself! But someday you’ll get a desire to have someone and you don’t want to miss out. As for your love of sex toys just may become your best friend.

I am agree with the person who said about us getting influenced by television, movies,magazines. I would like to ask the same question , i dont know if is possible. I am the person who gets hurt just because i put too much effort in someone who doesnt deserve it, thats how i feel right now...good luck

Absolutely! I’ve had many relationships that were based on nothing more than respect, passion and lots of sex. They were wonderful and I don’t regret one. I’ve also had a handful of "relationships" and they were good in their own right, but not as satisfying as the less emotionally attached relationships.

The bottom line is that people will stand around, flapping their jaws about how wonderful relationships are, while complaining about how their partner does this or doesn’t do that. If you know what you want, are matched in your commitment by someone of equal mind, are both of legal age and you’re not hurting anyone else, who cares?

It almost doesn't seem possible with the younger people out there today, but it is. Yes, I do believe that someone can be truly happy with another, without having to make love all the time.

Everybody’s different. I do believe there are some people that can happily lead a single life. Are you one of those… that’s a question only you can answer. Really, to me it sounds like your are bitter and angry about something… not that you are truly happy as a single person. Like the whole putting yourself at risk comment… yes, on some level there is the risk of getting hurt but that shouldn’t be something you are focused on.

Given the way the media and just people in general emphasize relationships, I think you'd always feel like you were missing out. I'm not saying you couldn't be happy, but you'd constantly be reminded (on TV, movies, walking in public places) of what you were missing.
