Some people feel marriage is the way you do, a horse and a carriage. Others feel it is a trap (hence, the old expression "the old ball and chain".) And others feel it is a way to get gifts from people to add more "property".

There are many things people feel when the subject of love and marriage comes up.

Regardless of those feelings, people who wish to get married – for whatever reason – should have the inalienable right to do so, without anyone telling them what should and shouldn’t pass for an "acceptable" one. If both parties are adults, the union is consensual, and both are mentally fit, we should all support the right of marriage.

Even those who are against marriage.

Exactly. How do they relate? They don’t. I know plenty of people who marry for the wrong reasons, not because they’re in love. It’s a shame because there’s people who really want to get married and can’t (lgbt community).

I heard this song earlier. I know its old. Its just every time I hear it I think of gay marriage. Lol, figures.

If they really go together like a horse and carriage why can’t glbt get married?

Hmm I put the part about separation cuz maybe one day all the states will have gay marriage legal. Lol.

So has anyone else ever thought of gay marriage while hearing this song? I know in some ways it doesn’t make sense but oh well. So basically when you hear ‘love and marriage go together like..’ What do you think?

Pocket Punk. I know marriage works for some and not for others. It was just a silly thing I thought of. What if it were human rights and people go together like a horse and carriage? … or something like that. Lol that would make more sense.
